Adler has spent over twenty five years in media and entertainment business development, sales and marketing; the past 15 in digital. Most recently he was VP, Programatic at Newslook, a content aggregator and SAAS provider that distributes premium video and enterprise applications to media companies. Prior to that he developed and activated marketing programs for many fortune 500 brands including Microsoft, Mercedes, L’Oreal, Hennessy, Citi, and Kraft while at companies like CBS, Clear Channel, National Lampoon and Tribune. An early adopter of multi-media and branded integration, Mel has also created and led several media start-ups and executive produced programs across terrestrial, wired and mobile platforms including South Side Johnny (PPV Special), ‘Cool Notes’ Jazz, Segway Top 10 Countdown, and iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball.



Co-Founder, Exec VP, Marketing & Promotion

Jon has been deeply involved with leading edge entertainment companies in the music, radio, concert/live event, print digital, television and agency businesses. While at ICM and in artist management, he worked with such artists as the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, the Beach Boys, Randy Newman, and the Kinks. A member of both the original MTV and VH1 teams, Jon has developed numerous integrated marketing, event, and sponsorship programs for the likes of Live Nation, AEG, YouTube, Pepsi, Wal-Mart, Sony Electronics, and Nike. Jon reunited with Les Garland (Co-creator of MTV/VH1) to develop The Box, the world's first interactive music television network. Jon was later Vice President, Marketing Partnerships for Clear Channel Communications, where he created integrated marketing programs, including the Jagermeister Music Tour and on-sale programs for the Rolling Stones and David Bowie.

David Kober

A former corporate attorney with the internationally recognized law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, David has 30 years of global experience as a business development executive and legal counsel, graduating with a J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 1985, and a B.A., Summa Cum Laude from Yeshiva College in 1982. From 2002 until 2015, David served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for American Banknote Corporation, a provider of high-security documents and services to governments and major corporations, with operating subsidiaries in the USA, Canada, South Africa, China, and Australia.

As one of MTV”s legendary five original VJs, Mark has interviewed everyone from Paul McCartney to Sting to Bruce Springsteen, and hosted shows including The Week In Rock, 120 Minutes, and the first show ever syndicated to broadcast by MTV, The Top 20 Video Countdown. Mark started in radio at WMMR in his hometown of Philadelphia, where he became music director. In 1980, he moved to New York to work at the market’s number one rock station, WPLJ. After MTV, Mark returned to radio, working at stations in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Phoenix, and hosting various TV shows and music specials. He joined Sirius Satellite Radio (now SiriusXM) in 2004, where he continues to broadcast seven days a week. Mark has worked as a music supervisor for shows including ABC’s Desperate Housewives, and conducts interviews and hosts specials for VH1 and VH1 Classic.

Alan has been one of America's leading music journalists for over twenty years. Serving as senior writer for Rolling Stone Magazine, Alan has interviewed and written about most every influential music artist of the time. A former Editor-in-Chief of Spin and Vibe magazines, Alan is still a frequent contributor to Rolling Stone and the New York Times. He is the author of Let's Go Crazy: Prince and the Making of Purple Rain and The Holy or the Broken: Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley and the Unlikely Ascent of "Hallelujah," and the co-author of Gregg Allman's best-selling memoir My Cross to Bear.


Brian Diamond

Senior Vice President, Content & Production

Brian has over 30 years of experience in video content creation and management of creative teams both domestically and internationally and integral to the launch and growth of several media properties. He was part of the original teams to launch both MTV and MTV Europe, helped grow the UFC franchise to media success as Senior Vice-President of Sports at Spike TV and most recently was Chief Content Officer of Whistle Sports. Diamond’s production credits include MTV’s coverage of Live Aid and The US Festival, The MTV Basement Tapes, MTV Unplugged, MTV Europe’s Most Wanted with Ray Cokes and Turner Network’s All-Star Tributes to both Johnny Cash and Brian Wilson.

Nancy Paladino

Creative Director

A graduate of The Parson’s School of Design, Nancy began her career as the original art director at the first music video channel, MTV. She later pioneered a successful digital graphic division of a prominent New York post production facility. In 1992, Nancy founded Artichoke, a New York design and animation studio. Today, Artichoke’s scope of work ranges from the early years of cable broadcast branding to current marquee corporate promotions with a simple philosophy, design with reason and deliver on message.


Stuart Cohn

Managing Editor, Executive Producer

Stuart Cohn has written, produced and developed successful projects for MTV, Disney, Discovery, and Turner in his thirty-year career in television. As the first managing editor of MTV News, he helped establish MTV as one of the leading brands in media journalism. TV series he developed for the networks include “MTV’s Big Urban Myth Show,” “High School Stories,” and “Engaged & Underage,” which The New York Times praised for its “intense emotional universe.” Cohn has developed documentaries for Discovery, executive-produced series for truTV, and commissioned music videos for Disney’s Hollywood Records, including Grammy-nominated and MTV VMA Award-winning clips. Throughout his career, Cohn has always concentrated on high-quality work that combines a sense of humor, interest in character, respect for accuracy, and a love of music.


David Sheehan

Senior VP, Affiliate Sales

As SVP, Sales, Sheehan comes to AWE having been around entrepreneurial video and editorial ventures for more than 20 years. David started as an original Account Executive at ABCNEWS VideoSource, the B2B video content licensing arm of ABC News, and as the GM ultimately led the unit to its highest revenue and profit ever. He then transformed ImageSource, a unit within CNN, into a revenue-generating profit engine with a diverse portfolio of assets including video, stills and text articles. As SVP Sales at NewsLook, Sheehan more than doubled both the content syndication inventory and publisher list, and opened new markets and clients in the US and Canada.

Ted is an accomplished entertainment executive with experience in start-ups, major-market station management, artist development and management, business and programming development. Having direct experience in the Traditional, Digital, On-site, Social, Mobile and ‘Cross-Platform‘ media business, he has created innovative solutions for competitive and technical challenges facing customers and strategic partners. Specializing in revenue development through building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, vendors, and staff, while ensuring seamless communication between internal and external groups and all essential vehicles of content distribution.



Talent Executive

Jennifer is a persuasive and passionate executive with an extensive career in Music, Film, Television and Advertising. She has worked with many award winning icons in the entertainment world in developing strategies, executing plans and analyzing results. Skilled in contract negotiation, strategic brand building, budgeting and strengthening relationships with power brokers, artists and management, she is also adept at Project Management and identifying strategic partnerships.

Associate Producer

Stephanie began her career at VH1, where she spent a decade conducting shoots and writing/producing for a myriad of shows. At, she had the opportunity to interview legendary artists and create content for one of the first online music platforms. Having spent the last several years as a Development Producer in reality television, she is thrilled to join the AWE team where she need not make excuses for being a music junkie. Stephanie has a Master’s degree in Literature from N.Y.U.



Production Assistant

Claire graduated from the University of Michigan in 2014 with a degree in English and Global Media Studies. At Michigan, she developed an interest in television production and writing. She has served as Production Assistant for the 52nd New York Film Festival and subsequently for Bravo’s Untying the Knot and Animal Planet’s North Woods Law.
